Hay I know that song!!!! sugar Pie honey bunch, you know I love you....!!!!
I've called my kids that many times!!!

The last time I was called "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" was back when there was this group of absolutely, beautiful, black women that regularly sang to me and these words were often in the song!
It made me feel so special! That was back when it was usually on an actual Record Player, or possibly on the AM Station, later to be heard on the FM stations.
I've just realized that what I am looking for in this world is a relationship where one of us feels free to call the other "Sugar Pie, Honey Bun" and not be embarrassed. I also think I'd prefer to call the lady this term of endearment, rather than her call me this, but I'd go either way on this, or possibly take turns with her. I'd even go so far as to split it up and one of us could be "Sugar Pie" and the other "Honey Bun", and we could also switch back and forth, as the mood struck us.

My husband called me Sugar yesterday. My grandmother called me Sweetie Pie when I was a kid. And my 2nd grade teacher called all of us Honey Bunch. So does that count?

One of the older guys at my work calls me Sugar Pie, each time he sees me. He is a sweet guy and I don't mind.

i have been called various others but not sugar pie or honey bunch ... id actually be offended if a girl called me either of those two, it makes me seem feeble

My boss calls me that every day !
I walk in the office and off she goes - problem is by the time she's finished everyone is calling me it........
It does make me feel special but why not just give me the rise I've been after...

OMG!!... This morning... a guy on one of my sales teams is from Louisianna... and he calls me sugar pie and darlin' all the time... I think it's so cute!!!
