There is no telling when your body will be ready to give birth. 1cm is not much. I was 4 cm at 35 weeks pregnant and I didn't give birth until 38 weeks. The doctor told me that I was going to go into labor any day and that turned into 3 weeks.

well, no one can really figure that one out. My sister in law was 2 centimeters for about 7 weeks. It's not unusual to be 1 or 2 centimeters dialated at this point as long as the head has not really dropped or contractions.

Everyone is different, but I would not count on going into labor anytime soon.

Nobody knows, but my friend was dilated at 3cm for 3WEEKS.
