That's not true.... i got a knock at the door the other day and when i open it there was a shark there.... he just attacked me for no reason and i wasn't wet. I told him that he should only attack me when wet so he apologised and went on his way... but he still did it

Incorrect - there are recorded instances of people being attacked by sharks whilst they were high and dry in boats. OK the shark had just been landed by a fisherman into the boat and they were stupid enough to get in the way of the teeth. There have also been cases of Mako's landing in boats whilst trying to free themselves from fishing lines and biting whoever got in the way.

Not true. Sharks can attack seals basking on rocks, and those seals can be perfectly dry. They've been known to rocket out of the water and snatch down flying birds as well.
It's true that sharks hunt best in water, and that they follow scent trails and electrical signals. But they can also use visual cues, so they're capable of hunting near-surface prey.

Maybe there are just no recorded onland shark attacks. I have heard there are sharks in my local town, apparently in a shop called Credit Cronies.

I heard of a marine biologist who was examining the womb of a female shark, and an unborn baby shark bit his hand.
He wasn't wet at the time.

aha!!!!!!!!!!
so did you know that more people are killed from dog attacks than shark attacks?
sharks attack humans coz they confuse us with their original prey or because they are curious.
a man lying on a surf board is more prone to great-white shark attacks coz he ressembles a sea-lion.
some sharks are curious about humans. but they cant feel with their imaginary hands or anything. so they use their teeth.
besides , sharks are more threatened from human attacks than we are from theirs. some diners serve shark-fin soup, the fins which are put in are obtained by catching live sharks , cutting off their fins while they are alive, and then throwing them back into the ocean to die.

no **** sherlock. we have a new member of the ministery for the bleeding obvious here. obviously you have to be in the water but sharks only attack if they feel threatened, or smell blood

catch one fishing and bring it on deck. Let it flop around and see if it only bites the wet people. Also try wearing a dry suit and cover yourself with blood and jump in the ocean, you should be fine.
