Can any one help im 27weeks pregnant and started gettin really bad cramp pains last nite which felt as though i was gonna have a period ive got up this morning and still got a cramp pain.Its been on and off all day is this normal???

im 40 weeks pregnant and i remember getting cramp pains like a period pain but was informed that it was only my uterus stretching but if you are worried dont hesitate to ask your midwife. She is the expert.

At 24 weeks I started having menstrual-type cramps on and off for a week or two. I called my midwife who said as long as they weren't regular (i.e. labor pains!) then it was just uterine stuff. But, call to be sure. I haven't had it in a week now.

lots of people get cramping pains during pregnancy but if at any time you are unsure about anything........call you midwife and speak to her. she is the only who will fully put your mind at ease. and after all there is nothing worse for baby than a stressed mum.

i never suffered from cramp until i got pregnant and now i have had my little boy i havnt had it since, the best thing i found was always do plenty of stretches and drink a small amount of tonic water before you go to bed

You could be getting Braxton Hicks contractions but if its painful and continuous you should see your doctor...

You may need to go to the doctor to see if everthing is ok... just to be on the safe side.

go and See your GP or go to you local hospital
everything is probably OK but get it checked out
no one will be annoyed with you they will think you have been sensible by getting it checked out

I would call my doctor just to ease my fears. I'm sure it's nothing though.

Drink milk and eat liverworst sandwiches, but make sure you eat worms. At least that's what they did in Mulan and at the Salem Witch Trials.
