Relax fellas, I heard this crap from the movie - Scary movie III where the person acting like Eminem (named George) covers his face with a hooded sweat shirt and the rest of the AA audience ask him to 'Loose the hood' which he doesnt and the crowd gets frenzy upon him.

It means that there is a time and place for everything, so when you are at a function or in an enviorment where you are expected to act a certain way, loose the slang, pull your pants up and act like you know. It means leave the hood in the hood.

Miss Thing above WRONG! That's not what it means.
It means get that type of personality out of your system. Especially when you go to certain functions or you're around certain people. It means that black people from the hood, ghetto, whatever should loose the mentality of where they come from.
A lot of blacks can be both. They can play the class act. And then when they're in their space, they can go back to being comfortable from where they were born and raised. And trust me, we as some blacks like being who we are. We're not stuck-up, we're not phony, we don't kiss @ss, and we love ourselves for being us. If others can't except that, then that's their itch. We as Black people can be and are just a classy as the next person. However, we should receive an Academy Award just for putting up with some of the sh!t that we put up with. And that goes pretty much for every nationality that has to put up with sh!t!
But I'm so sure a smart person such as yourself could have figure this one out. Also PS: I'm not an African American. I'm a Proud Black Woman Thank you very much!

I am from a BAD neighborhood, and this keeps many people down. As it should, most whites never understand how hard it is to leave that area and make something of yourself. I am now a computer engineer, and I couldn't have accomplished this if I didn't lose the hood in me. It is still there if I need it to be, but can't be my everyday MO. I couldn't deal with my corporate clients being who I am internally. I have to put on this "white" facade which I don't mind cause you should see the house I just bought.

it means stop acting like a monkey and act like a normal human being , like civilized people, stop jumping around , runing the neighbors, stealing, wrecking property , robbing banks, murders, etc, otherwise they get locked up in the cage aka jail

I'm just stating what I interpret it to be. It would me that you are racist. Take off the hood would then mean that you are like a member of the KKK who's uniform included a hood over their head and face.
