I enjoyed the book a great deal and have continued with the "Ender's Shadow" books (Bean's story line). The fictional universe that Orson Scott Card created was a bit hard to swallow at first, since imagining a world where adults put so much faith in the abilities of genius kids requires some suspension of disbelief. However, once you get past that, the book presents such a complete fictional world that the sequels have a tough time capturing that same exciting mix of kids, games and saving the world. However, if you liked "Ender's Game," you should definitely read "Ender's Shadow."

Don't have much time to discuss the book further. Sorry.

Read it, lovely book, but thought I'd leave you with this handy little fact...Orson Scott Card spent a few years planning the whole book out, and then spent an intensive two weeks and wrote the whole thing. Isn't that amazing? What a power-writer! Hardly anyone can do that. Good, now I've shared it. Have a stupendous day.
