how is the healing process supposed to go and is the inside opening supposed to be white? is scabbing normal??

if it's red that means it's infected if there's no color it should be fine. You'll have minor scabbing as long as you take a warm towel NO soap and wipe around the area to remove any dead skin off it

Scabs are normal, and so is the inside being white. It heals just like any other piercing... except you may drool into the piercing, so there is a higher risk of infection.

Ok piercing on your lip is just O.o Take is out!!
It's not very professional and it doesn't look that nice!
It looks like you killed a worm and make a ring out of it then cliped it on your lip!
