i let my son's hamster out of the cage and it hid inside of the closet and came out with a block in his cheeks

i put it back in it's cage and it stuffed it's whole cheek with food with the block inside it's cheek, then it took three pieces of food out and now it's sleeping, what do i do

its ok. just leave it and it will take it out on its own. trust me. he wont eat anything that he knows he can't.

dont worry hamsters naturally empty their pouches

when your not looking he will empty both pouches
