Which weapon was used as a farming tool from the TMNT movie, in the 1800s? Learn to use all four weapons from the TMNT charters! South West Karate & Aikido Los Angeles. I like the Sai's the best. But the sword is really cool too...

I would say either the sai, or the sickle. Kind of used as a farming ho (no pun intended). And for most of the guys that answered after me, the asker already KNOWS that the movie was never made in the 1800´s. Geez, take it easy already. If a person asks a question that sounds silly, read it a couple more times before saying something stupid. Actually, the ninja turtles couldn´t possibly exist back then. That just goes to show how ´dumb´ some people are. HE WAS JUST ASKING WHICH WEAPON (FROM THE MOVIE) WAS USED BACK THEN.

That's a funny question, as the turtles were created in 1984 and their weapons are the same in the comic books, movies and cartoons

Raphael's weapon, the Sai, could be used as a farm tool. Sai are often believed to have originated as an agricultural tool used to measure stalks, plow fields, plant rice, or to hold cart wheels in place, though the evidence for this is limited

Michaelangelo's weapon, the nunchaku, could be used as a farm tool. The popular belief is that the nunchaku was originally a short flail used to thresh rice or soybeans (that is, separate the grain from the husk).

Donatello's weapon, the bo, could be used as a farming tool. The bo staff is thought to have been used to balance buckets or baskets. Typically, one would carry baskets of harvested crops or buckets of water or milk or fish, one at each end of the bo, that is balanced across the middle of the back at the shoulder blades. In poorer agrarian economies, the bo remains a traditional farm work implement

Even Leonardo's weapon, the Ninjaken, could be used as a weapon (though a Ninjaken implies it is a ninja sword, and ninjas were not farmers) It like any sword could be used to cut grass, chop crops and various other uses

I seriously doubt that the TMNT was a movie in the 1800s. As for the weapons I believe the nunchaku (Michealangelo's weapon) and the bo (Donatelo's weapon) were both used as farming tools.

I did some extra research on wikipedia.com and found that the nunchaku has a variety of possible origins. I found out that the bo is the earliest of all Okinawa weapons. If you just want one answer to your question then I would say it is the nunchaku.

I visited South West Karate & Aikido in Colorado, and they had no idea what you were talking about since the TMNT movies didn't come out till the 21st century.

the Bo stick could be used for planting.

Actually, any of their weapons can be used as a flaming weapon. I just was not aware that they (the Turtles) were making movies in the 1800's
