This is very easy to do Charley

I assume you are using Yahoo Mail Beta.
On the open email inbox interface
Open the email concerned
To the Right there is header options
Put Full header On

The originating IP will be shown in the header like this:

[Orig i.p: xxx.xxx.xxx.xx]

All the best

You also can find the sender' name and phone number.
There is an online tool:

http://www.find-persons.info

You can search with two different ways:

FIND A PERSONS EMAIL: You have a persons name and want to find their email address.Usually the only requirement is a last name.

REVERSE SEARCH: You have an email address and want to know who it belongs to and the owner' phone number, address and other message.

And You also can Find out the truth about anyone you want to know about by doing a Criminal and Background Check. You too can have instant access to investigate practically anyone including job applicants, potential dates, neighbors, relatives, and even friends. Plus find out what others can know about YOU!!

Lookup Sex Offenders listed in Your Neighborhood
Search for ALL Public Records
Find Prison Records of Inmates Serving Time
Locate Personal Records about Yourself
Plus Get Unlimited Background Checks

sort of, but be warned broadband uses a staitc ip proxy. the email server is also static. if you right click and hit properties and get an ip from there it will not be the actual persons ip addy.

use a tracking program, such as eMailTracker. This will trace the e-mail back to the ip provider and you can report the mailer to the ip supplier. I have the program, you could e-mail me the 'header' information and I'll trace it for you.
