It sounds to me as though you have what is commonly known as Eye floaters.

Eye Floaters are formed from a clear jelly-like substance within the eye which takes up the space behind the lens and in front of the retina. When the jelly comes away from the retina this is known as Posterior Vitreous Detachment and results in what is commonly known as Eye Floaters. Eye Floaters can take many forms from little dots, circles, lines, to clouds or cobwebs. Sometimes people experience one large floater which can be distracting and make things difficult to read.......It's also suggested that floaters could be clumps of protein or results of trauma to the eye or breakdown of the vitreous humour.........

They're commonly found in nearsighted people and people with food allergies and Candida. Vitreous detachment is also common in diabetics, but the highest rate of complaints of floaters is in people over the age of 70. This is when the prevalence of a vitreous detachment jumps from 10% of the population to 63%.

Medication [drugs] can have quite an effect on our eyesight, Steroids - being the most damaging of any prescription drugs.......so this may be something you'll need to consider.....

Floaters are quite common & although annoying don't indicate by them selves that anything's wrong with your eyesight.
There are ways to prevent them through proper diet.
Chinese medicine believes that floaters are an indication of congestion in the liver, kidney and colon….. Chronic stress may also play a role

If you suddenly become aware of new spots in your vision, see your eye doctor right away to rule out serious problems.

If at any time you get what is called "Tunnel vision" which is where you can only see out of the very front of your eye, as though you're looking through a small tunnel.............[you get a constricted circular tunnel-like field of vision]......you must get immediate medical attention.

I'd suggest you go along & see your eye doctor anyway, just to check that alls well & put your mind at ease.

could be a form of migraine, not sure if you mean seeing black dots or you have them in the whites of your eyes. Ask the question again using spell check.
