No!

Bisexual is accurate.

I'm not greedy, I'm not confused or indecisive or want the best of both worlds.

I am simply and most accurately BISEXUAL. Able to be attracted to either gender.
I hate "omnisexual" because that implies that I would have sex with ANYTHING.
On the contrary, I'm VERY discriminating in my partners and NEVER cheat.

I'm not Poly Amorous, I have no problem with those who are, but it's just not for me.

I believe I'm a fairly typical Bisexual.

Too bad if you aren't able to distinguish between a machine and a human being, that sounds like a personal problem

I can't think of any better word than bisexual, as it best represents what dual attraction is. If we were to change the word bisexual, then we'd need to change the words homosexual and heterosexual to something else.

A good alternative would be to use the Kinsey scale, and abbreviate it to K0, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5 and K6. K0 is heterosexual and K6 is homosexual. What I like about this is that it obliterates society's either/or philosophy, and reinforces the variation in people's attractions. Some bisexuals would claim that the Kinsey scale itself is too shallow, as they can fluctuate through the scale over a period of time.

How about calling a bisexual a Love Partner. It implies that a bisexual loves having different partners, but doesn't make it sound like a medical term or a sexual deviant!!

There should be a different name because I have thought for a long time it just doesn't sound human. It sounds more like tandem, twins, bifocular as in glasses. In short it sounds like two of everything. And I aint even bi but lesbian.

Perhaps you'd prefer omnisexual, as in goes for both?

I've always liked trisexual. As in you'll try anything.

Why not simply describe yourself as whatever you want?

Extend it to ambisexual or informalise it into

bi-bloke/ bi-boy (bi-male), bi-gal (bi-female) with the plural being bi-folk.

EDIT:

Sod it - give the points to Wide Awake!

hows about having no name for it and just telling people that you like both men and women cos giving it a name like "bisexual" makes it sound like ur labelling someone.

and labels are for cans and products in supermarkets

not people

do you see a tag on me labeling me "gay"?

i think not

im not a food product

im gay

but i don't need a tag telling everyone else

because tags belong on products

not people
