Not at all. They haven't been relevant since about 1970. All of the rational things they stood for have been accomplished. Of course they stood for a lot of innane things also (releasing ALL black inmates from every prison in the country, allowing blacks to carry weapons out in public, etc...)

But as far as the equality in education, job training, housing, etc...ALL of those demands were met years ago.

because I have to answer a question on them in Modern American History > otherwise they have lost any significance, except for the corrections officers guarding the survivors
