Buy one on ebay or the like that is either unlocked or for cingular. With GSM phones as cingular uses all you have to do is put your sim card in the new phone.

I agree, use ebay and make sure it is a cingular capable phone so you can use your sim card. My boyfriend bought many phones on ebay and all have worked fine. You can always sell your old one on there too. There are some other websites that sell cingular phones but they are probably more expensive.

I wouldnt recommend doing this. If something happens to the phone you cannot take it back or get it repaired for free.
