I wanna say it was called Ellen or something like that! Any ideas, I saw it when I was little and believe it was a true story.
Help, I wanna see it again! :)

Hey, I just wanted to let you know about some additional info on this movie. According to the imdb message boards, you can get a copy of this movie for free if you request one from the CF foundation. We have a young friend with CF so this is especially close to my heart. I am leaving the link so you can check out the info for yourself. You may have to register to get to the link. Here is some more info in case you cant access the site.

if you write to the email address Info@cff.org and request a copy of "Alex: The Life of a Child," they will send you the VHS for free. Be sure to include your mailing address in the email, and they'll get it to you right away.

As far as I know, it isn't available anywhere except through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation website (http://www.cff.org), and given the beautiful quality of this movie, this is the best deal you could ask for. It's an incredibly generous offer. A copy sent straight to your home absolutely free. Hope this helps.

This info would be helpful to help you:

*You saw it when you were little, but how old are you and what do you consider little, or at least give the aprox. year you saw this movie.

*Was the little girl an orphan or have a family, do you remember anything about her family ( Single Mom or Dad, Siblings?)

*What was her sickness and or symptoms of her illness ( Could she walk, go to school?)

*Were did the stroy take plcae (US, England, Somewhere in Europe, Middle East or Africa??)

If you can offer some of these answers I'm sure we can figure out the movie you're looking for...I'd like to see it too, sounds like it much have been really good for you to want to see it again so much.

Just in case last bad answer was the only answer.. so I added this..

Your info is not enough. If you can briefly tell us the content or type (drama, scary, comedy) or ending of the movie, that will be easier. A lot of movies have girls died in it.
