what do you mean still?...it never went anywhere...and oh by the way, it is perfectly natural, we are programmed by our DNA to be wary, suspicious, and distrustful of all those not like ourselves...it is a survival mechanism and is the part of natural selection called group selection. now, in modern times, we try to evercome this biological imperative by being 'tolerant' of others...sometimes we are, and sometimes we arent...lol

According to the popup I get when I hold the cursor over your image, you've been on this site for over a month.
You tell me.
Click Society & Culture and read the questions, then refresh the page and read the questions, lather, rinse, repeat.
See how many racist questions appear?
The answer, unfortunately, is yes.
Though I believe it is disappearing, and have heard that the next generation, just reaching or nearing adult-hood are less racist than any generations before them.
I am also convinced that today there's a greater proportion of humans living who understand that all humans are human than there has every been before.
But there are still a lot of people unable or unwilling to accept this fact.

Yes it is and anyone who says different is lying or refuses to open thier eyes. It may not be as prevalent as it was in say the 1950's or so,but yes it is still around. As long as one race thinks they are better than another simply because of thier skin color, then there will still be rascism.

Racism is still alive and will ALWAYS be with us. It is in our fallen human nature to be racist. The awareness of racism in others and most especially in ourselves is the only way we can combat it.

Racism will always be alive. It's natural. Forced tolerance is unnatural.

Reverse racism is truly alive today. We have such things as all black colleges, BET, Miss Ebony pageant, NAACP, etc. etc.
If white people had all white colleges, WET, Miss White pageant, NAAWP, etc. etc. we would be called racist.
In todays society it is ok for a black person to be racist towards a white person, but it isn't ok for a white person to be racist towards a black person.
So to answer your question, yes racism does exist in America.
