I want to start some container gardens on my patio. I live in Northern IL, and its just starting to be warm out. Its usually about 55-65 degrees. When can I plant them? I want to do veggies like peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, spinach and cilantro.

cilantro, lettuce, spinach, cabbage, mustards, collards, dill, lavender, oregano, onions, chives. Cole crops basically. Larkspur, snaps, babys breath oh-peas. I could go on and on. You really should start seeds inside!

You can always start your container garden inside
then move it outside after the last frost.
