I bought my house before I married, I have been married for 4 years and he has left me and 4 kids the house and deed,loan is all in my name. I can't afford it and want to sell it before losing it. we have not file for divorce.

You should be able to sell it if your name is the only one on the deed. It is probably better to try to sell it for something rather than getting it repossessed as you suggest.

Since you are still married the proceeds from the sale of the house may be up for debate when/if you do have divorce proceedings.

Once divorce is filed, a normal provision in that filing is that neither party can liquidate marital property. If you haven't received notice of that yet.

But before you do something major like selling a house, might be worth your time to consult with an attorney about it.

Yes you can sell your house as soon as you can spend your time with that.Long time preparation is very important before selling your house in Ohio.
