Actually- marbles in the gas tank. It wont kill the car but it will drive the person insane trying to find out what is wrong with their car! Its hard to diagnose and noisy as hell!
P.S. this is why i have a locking gas cap! lmao

The Myth Busters already tested that sugar and moth ball stuff and those tricks don't work. I'd try to find another way to deal with your anger even if you're justified for feeling as you do.
It might make you feel REALLY GOOD to mess up someone's car ... I know exactly how you feel. The problem is that it'll make you feel good for about two seconds, but then you'll worry about getting caught for a long time to come. So, I've been in your shoes myself many times. I've also wanted to mess up somebody who deserves it, but life isn't always fair and sometimes we just have to move on and let things go.

Bleach in the gas tank which will rust the ENTIRE inside of the engine. Cut the fuel lines. Weld the carb disks shut. But the bleach will cause the engine to seize up and stop. And sugar in the gas tank is a god idea too.

There are a great number of ways to permanently disable a car.
Unfortunately I won't tell you any.
To the above poster that mentioned fords: It's funny you say that because I just sold a '97 Chevy 1500 because it was (well) equipped to disable every system necessary for vehicle movement. Engine (twice), Trans (twice), etc, etc..

Sugar in the gas tank ( really messy ) / dump diesel in a gasoline or gasoline in a diesel (at least 5 gallons/ also messy )//// reminds me to check the lock cap on my car.

IF you are planing to so some destructive thing to someone Else's car

Pour some liquid oxygen in the oil filler cap. That will take care of it.
