I am trying to set up a form on a website which will allow people to subit their name, address, phone &email?

I have been trying to use JAVASCRIPT but no luck. any ideas

Use some sort of formmail backend. I use formmail.php found at: http://www.tectite.com/

You get the idea from there...
You have to have something set up to receive the form data, like PHP, JSP, CGI, etc. The form action will send the data to the specified script that will process the data.

You can access the data in a form using javascript while the user is filling information in, but you cannot use javascript to do any data retreival (unless you are using AJAX).

Try MS Access.
