Help I can't connect to the internet, I've been without it for three days and I can't borrow a friends comptuer or go to the libary what do I do?

Try the following
1) turn off computer
Unplug the modem that is if you do not have cable for 10 sec plug back in and turn on computer.
2) Go to run type in cmd
Type:
ipconfig /all (Enter)
ipconfig /release (Enter)
ipconfig /renew (Enter)
or go to
3) control panel
Network and Internet connections
Network connections
Local area connection
Support tab
then click on repair
