just my one eyebrow is prominent and it always bothers me. I try to fix it with tweezers and then I always end up messing them up. When i first noticed it was when i was in like 8th grade so i tried to fix it then and i am still working on it. I dont want surgery but i need to find some other way.

I have the same problem, and I am so self conscience of it. I always noticed it in all my photos!

So I found a very upscale salon near me and had my eyebrows "designed". The esthetician took the time to analyze my brows and showed me different options. Then she plucked and sculpted. It was about $60....but I am completely happy with them. Now when they start growing in I just go to my nail salon and have them clean them up for just $8. I think it was well worth the money.

PS- I was thinking about Botox to even out my brows, but found I didn't need it after this.

I agree w/ the previous answers: have a professional shape your brows by tweezing, waxing or threading. Then you can maintain the shape at home.

Since you've been plucking them yourself, try to quit for about 2 weeks so the professional has more to work with.

If you really want to DIY, this is the best article w/ diagrams on how to shape your eyebrows: http://www.cosmeticscop.com/learn/makeup.asp?ID=175

www.eyebrowz.com & some beauty stores carry kits that have stencils you can use.

Waxing works for me. After awhile, you ruin the hair folicle and the hair stops growing back (though this can take several years). Most beauty salons do eyebrow waxing and it is very reasonable.
