Two calls in two days. Not bad since I just sent out my resume last week. As I mentioned before, I received three calls the last time around and one job offer only to have it recinded when I informed them of my credit issue. I am looking in the accounting/financial area primarily since that is where my experience and degree are in. But I don't want to get ahead of myself here.

I have looked at other areas and I either need to take a drastic cut in pay, or I don't have experience.

I already know that the odds are against me with the credit thing. I've heard from the critics. But my references are great and I have a good work ethic. And I am obviously honest if I have been up front with potential employers......

Any suggestions on how to look at this in a positive light???

Keep upbeat and continue your search. A positive attitude during interviews will speak volumes. If you allow negativity to show it will drag you down and eventually will start showing through on other areas of your life.

Smile, put your best foot forward and enter each opportunity with an open mind.....

Good Luck.

Hey there, first off, congrats on the resume issue. I've heard the job market has picked up lately. Just make sure they are from legitimate companies in your area, and do some research on them on the internet before commiting to an interview, or say yes to the interview first, then do research on them, contact the BBB in your area, etc, always good to be prepared anyway when you go in for an interview.

As for your credit issue...if they don't bring it up...you don't bring it up. They may not even worry about that kind of thing. If they ask about it in the interview, then by all means let them know, but I wouldn't worry about it otherwise.

Keep on trekking, and good luck!!!
