is wal-mart clothes cheap ?

i am just wondering cause i asked my friends this question and they said that they buy there rips easily is this true ?

No, The prices are low but the clothing's good quality. They have some very cute styles too,your friends may be trying to keep you from finding out the great deals you can get there.

There is a saying that is universally true: you get what you pay for. If the shirt is sold for cheap, it was made for cheap.

Wal-Mart oursources it labor to other countries. They have very high demands of their workers. Some workers in Venezuela have to make over 100 shirts a day. Though its cheap i strongly encourage you to try to find alternative places to buy affordable clothing. Wal-Mart is bad for the USA economy, mom and pop businesses, and USA workers. In the USA our workers cannot affor to work for the $1 a day liek workers in other countries have to. Therefore all the jobs are leaving the country.

So to conclude, of course the clothes are cheap, but there are larger social and political issues that should discourage you from buying.

I never like the clothes at Wal-Mart because the fabrics sometimes feel cheap and the clothes never fit me properly. However, I do go across the street to Target. It's amazing what you can get for a few extra bucks.

I actually work at Walmart. They are coming up with some of the same clothes that are being carried in some of the major department stores like Macy's and JC Penny just different brand name. Most of there clothes are pretty cheap. Ranging from $6.00 to $16.00. The trick to shopping at Walmart is waiting for sales. There clearance racks are awesome and Super Super cheap.

I used to work in the clothing department at walmart. Yes, they have cute, cheap clothes, but I haven't had any rips or holes yet. Some of the bras and panties rip extremely easy but as far as shirts and pants or skirts, not in my experience.

yes thier clothes are cheap!! Not to mention they aren't even name brand or have a logo. They are like $5 for a pair of jeans isn't that self explanatory enough? And also cheap displays that their clothes are made poorly and are unattractive.

Everything Walmart sells is crap. They backmail the manufacturers to take less money so they are forced to make lesser quality products. They're junk so you're not really saving money at all. There are plenty of places to get inexpensive but better quality clothes than Walmart.

Walmart clothes are cheap and ugly, with no style. I recommend you go to Kohls where they usually have the cutest clothes and you will find some of them for 80% off....

They're cheap compared to the mall but not as cheap as they were. They're getting better stuff AND more expensive prices to go with it. They have one brand that's called Metro, i think. It has really good stuff, but is actually a little overpriced.

I have 4 kids and buy almost all of their clothes at walmart. I've never had anything rip, unless they've fallen on the pavement of course! :)
