The weather is getting hot and humid, and gekkos often come and climb on the walls and all over the yard. I know they are not scary, but i could live without them. Can barely get out of the front door if I see even one of them. Would a cat or dog help to keep them away?

I wish...those rascals actually scare my cats too.
I will be watching for an answer.

The only reason I LOVE the Geckos on my front door, they eat tons of mosquitos and are fat and happy at my house. Its just they scare the crap out of me at times. They have sharp teeth...no joke. One fell in my grocery bag one night and I was freaked.... in the kitchen.

Get a LARGE lizard. That'll take care 'em and maybe your neighbor's annoying yappy little dog too.

are you sure they are GEKKOS and not anoles? where are you from? most gekkos are from VERY tropical regions..

A cat, i'm sure will help any small pest problem,.

I used to have a cat who would hunt- and eat- lizards.

But you really don't want to get rid of geckos: After all, they eat bugs.
