put a picture of your ex on the cake with a red cirlce around it and a red line crossing through the picture. You know, like a "No smoking" sign on a "No Ex" sign.

Sometime no words are funnier than a saying.

I am also having a divorce party. Some people think its a terrriable idea, but I look at it as just having fun with friends and a new outlook on life. Im very sad about divorcing too, but at this point there isnt much I can do, I know im doing the right thing! Im glad someone else is having a divorce party and dosent hate on them! Good luck girl and have fun!

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

edit - I've been to a divorce party. And let me tell you there was every reason to calibrate! The man beat the holy hell out of her (the hospital staff knew her by name), spent all their money on tramps to the point of bankruptcy (and he was kind enough to bring home an INCURABLE STD), and in the end killed her dog (with a gun, in their house, in front of her). The man was a HORRIBLE person, and we all nearly wet ourselves in happiness when she finally left him. I have NEVER had so much fun as I did at that party. So all of you people who say that it is sick and disgusting to have one of these parties, you don't know what you are talking about.

Thats sick. Maybe you could have her write on the cake-

I am too lazy and self centered to make my marriage work. Divorce is an easy out.

Put a candle at the top of the cake and write:
He always wanted a ******** - so blow!
Not only funny but will symbolize blowing him out of your life.

Edit: Ooops forgot about filters on here - the delted word is the common word for giving oral intercourse. *wink*

I personally think that a divorce party is in bad taste, but it's becoming more common. You are viewing the demise of a marriage as a moment that deserves celebrating. I am sure this is a sign that marriage as an insitution is in bad shape already.
Surely you loved this guy, or thought you did. Surely there were good times. So now you have a big party where you will celebrate how badly you think of him now.
How would you feel if him and a bunch of friends threw a great big party "woo hoo! the b**** is gone!"? You'd be hurt, and rightfully so.
