Global Warming is real, Politicians are fake, and therefore nothing significant will really be done to change either.

Nothing is going to stop global warming, it's a natural cycle. There are many periods of extinction and radiation (spreading and growth of species) in Earth's history. I think that we need to stop worrying about this natural process and concentrate on things more in the short term, like helping those on the Gulf Coast in Louisiana and Mississippi. I think Gore just wants attention and the world just needs to get over the fact that humans won't be around forever. For all we know, squirrels may end up being the dominant being on the planet several million years from now. The Earth is 4.6 billion years old and no one is going to miss humans, since we'll more than likely be around for only maybe a couple of thousand more years, during which we'll probably be colonizing other planets, so we won't even have to worry about the Earth's woes. So Gore's agenda is BS and he is just trying to gain support to try to arrest a natural occurrence. Sorry about rambling, but I think Gore doesn't know what he's talking about.

Many scientists say they "think it could be a problem". Whatever that means. It's all theory right now. Back in the 70's the leading liberal scientists said we had our backs against the wall because of global COOLING.
You're mistrust in the left is well founded. If they can get enough sculls full of mush (high school &college students) to buy into this theory, they can use it in their platform for the next few elections. Is it ever about anything but power with the left?

NO it is not a threat. It is part of a normal cycle. It is caused by the sun. CO2 increases after a warming cycle and is not the cause of a warming cycle. Al Gore does lie and he does it to put money in his pocket.
Have you watched the Great Global Warming Swindle? Excellent production, full of real scientists, in that field of study, who actually worked on the original IPCC panel who all say this hysteria is a crock.
Regardless there is a ton of data and information out there that tells the facts, not the hysteria.

Gore is kissing up the UN. If given their way they will impose a global tax to "help pay" for the greenery of the planet.
They claim that science is in agreement on global warming but science also predicted a grim hurricane season last year and couldn't/didn't even get that right.
Why should we - HOW can we trust them on this?

Amen!!
There are planets all around our solar system that are heating up! Mars' ice cap has been melting for 3 years in a row! Storms are increasing on Jupiter (similar to hurricanes in the summer on earth), even Pluto is getting hotter! The atmosphere there is 300% denser than in previous years!
The sun is brighter now than it has been in the past! Why else would it be getting hotter?
I've heard "scientists" decry all of the solar evidence, saying it was nothing more than coincidence! The amount of evidence for the sun to be causing the warming trend is staggering! When will the left realize that they cannot deny the truth any more?!

Global warming has been going on for the last 15,000 years. And when it stops - we will begin entering the next Ice Age.
people forget that historians refer to the period that preceded the current 'global warming' event of the past ~300 years as: 'The Little Ice Age.'
It is pure hubris to think that we even can affect forces of this scale.

I'm no scientist, either.
Nor am I one to believe the far right or the far left.
What I do know, is what I studied in college - that being geology and meteorology.
Fact is, the Earth does go through periods of warming and cooling.
This is irrefutable truth, a scientific fact.
What is unknown, is whether the Earths' climate is responding faster than normal to effects caused by humans.
Now, being a reasonable person, I would assume that global clear-cutting of forests, wide-spread paving of roads with dark material (i.e., asphalt), exhaust from engines (just to name a few of many possible man-made effects) would have to have SOME kind of impact on the Earths' climate.
Do I do my part to reduce, reuse and recycle?
Yes.
Do I look for ways to avoid driving my car and running the house air conditioning, electrical usage, etc...?
Yes.
It starts with the individual, not with the government.

Gore is not a scientist either but he is making lots of money trying to scare everyone you notice that gore or his Hollywood left two - faced buddies seem to think that all of us should conserve but they all have big mansions and flying around in their jets , they alone use enough fuel and electricity to light up a small town you notice we cant drill in this country but what do you think their planes and SUV burn, do you think for a minute any of them will do with out ?

This is the BEST! "Gore"-bal Warbling! I love it! It's just
new ways to pass laws to take away more of our freedoms. The weather is cyclical. Don't listen to this psycho-babble the left wants to put us under. But the way I see it, we're heading that way because of the Lib's and Hollowood morons.
