Yes of course you should invite him.bt discuss it with your husband and also meet your father inlaw and talk to him so they dont misbehave at your child's birthday.Good luck

If you talk to both of them and they say they will behave.

If there is NO ALCOHOL involved.

If your son wants both there.

It might be best not to invite such a risky situation on your boys big day. You could always just have lunch with you, your son and grandpa if things are looking like they wont turn out the way you want them.

yes you should invite him, talk to both of them first. And tell them both that its about the child for that day, not about them. Don't hurt a child over adult being stupid.
