You can put small pieces of meat in a food processor, set processor to pure and you will have strained meat for her without all the additives.

There is a Happy Baby food grinder system that is awsome and easy. I used it for all of my children and they are all adults now. It is a plastic set up where you put the meat, veggies and whatever else you want into the bottom of the thing and then push down and turn a top handle. The food comes out the top already ground up. If you need to thin it out just add formula and it is perfect and tasty and oh, so easy! It is also easy to travel with. The child just eats what you do...I started doing Rice Krispies cereal for my kids...tastes much better than baby rice cereal! I'm sure if you google baby food grinder you will find it.

I made all of my own baby food as well. When it came time for meats, i just boiled them in water and then added them to the food processor with some veges or potatoes (steamed too) and whipped it all up. As they get older, you can puree it less and less - toward the end i made stews (with meats and all veges and potatoes too) and used a hand blender stick to chunk it up a little.
combos i made:
beef, green beans and potato
chicken, spinach and sweet potato
really any vege or more than one vege could be used. any potato will act as a binder and then you can add more or less water or formula or breastmilk to get the right consistancey. I even put some cereal in there sometimes

What we did was cooked up some chicken breasts and beef and then pureeed the crap outta them in a blender. You are going to need to all a bit of water to get it to a paste like consistency. Then jsut put the meat purree in ice cube trays and freeze. Then just add a cube or two to whatever. We did a lot of sweet potato and beef. Peas and chicken. Whatever the baby will eat.

chicken, turkey, beef, ham- puree with a little salt-free organic chicken stock. Mix in some pureed carrots and noodles- they will love it. You can also puree rice or add in some hummus.
