This guy that sits on the other side of my cubicle keeps talking trash to me. When I'm on the phone or on the radio he tries to distract me from doing my work. What's the best way to shut him up?

Trying to change him is futile. There are many immature adults in the workplace. Living well is the best revenge. Avoid jerks and rude people. If you have to deal with them, ignore their annoying ways and just make the best of what you have.

Revenge is not the best way to lead your life, it will come back on you.
Report what is going on to your immediate supervisor and HR and let them deal with it.

Well if he is really distracting you; just report him to HR.
He will get a demerit and chances are when it comes up time for raises he won't have such a nice raise. That would make me smile.

Oh this is soooooo easy. Heres what you do. You take super glue and after your shift if you can get away with it..superglue his stuff down..all of it..pencils, keyboard..everything.
Or you could log on to his system and accidentally send an email to everyone there professing his love to you.

politely ask him to stop doing it........and if he continues offer him ex-lax that comes in gum. (Tell him his breath is a little off) You'll be laughing so hard you won't be able to hold a conversation on the phone nor the radio, and most likely he'll be going home early.

I dont think its a matter of revenge, I think his boss ahould lnow about it before you loose your job! STAND UP for yourself and report him to his supervisor thats Harrassment!
