No gouging at the pumps. There are laws in our state that prevent that. But the real people who are gouging you is government, they make the biggest profit off of every gallon of gas you buy.
OPEC, supply and demand are what control the price of oil/gas.
Also, The Federal Government and environmentalists are to blame for the high gas prices. We can't drill for oil in our own country or off the shores. We haven't built a refinery in how long. All of this because the Feds have made it impossible to do it. Allow them to drill and this will give more time for the alternative fuels to become economical.
My quality of life has been great. I can't give Bush credit for that, I did that myself.

The oil company's are in business to make a profit, thats what we do here in the states. Do you whine as much when your local mom and pop govery store makes a profit? The high cost os fuel is two things Supply and Demand, then you have the refinery problems on which fuel tomake and how much, as each state is different. My quality of life has sky rocketed under Bush...........Thanks!

i've got seen alot of human beings say God hates sinners. i do no longer see the way it particularly is frequently actual, while God has unconditional love for all mankind. I don't feel like there's a direct corrolation b/w gas prices and Bush being president. There's no evidence of it, only ignorance wanting to believe it.
Quality of life, as through most presidents, has gone up or down more by my own actions than anything else.

opec and the market sets the price for oil and gas... NO-one other than the Gov is gouging you... oil companies make 8 cents per gallon... the state/federal govs make what is it .30cents to .79 cents pr gallon...
the quality of life is always going up.. if it wasnt then you would have to say the market... and stocks would be going in a negitive way... research.. medical... food.. everything would be in the minus row.... anyone that says different... is well.. a fool...

My life is great, and the speculators on Wall Street are the ones who have to do with gas prices. The President can't set the prices.

The oil companies make 0.08 per gallon,Government taxes over 0.50 per gallon.
It ain't the Oil Co. gouging you ,it's the politicians,local,state and federal.
