Scotch Guard is the best for protecting cloth. You can do it yourself with spray, or have it done professionally. I prefer Formula 2001 over Armor All. I still use Armor All sometimes, but for outside stuff I use the other. It has a much better UV protection rating, and still gives me the lustre/shine.

i own a shop and i use armor all on all the vinyl and scotch guard on the carpet once i get it real clean it works really good,that's the name of the product is scotch guard,it works really well though ,and helps it resist heat and damage from the sun also,good luck hope this helps.
