I think it really depends on the person who's being Punk'd sense of humor. Yeah once they realize they are on camera they tend to laugh but do they really think it was funny? I will admitt , I've thought some of them were pretty good but you could see that things could go a bit too far.
But I guess it doesn't reall matter because the latest report is that the up coming season will be the last.

I don't know. I think a mixture of both. All hidden camera show have a little bit of mean in them. They want to embarrass and expose peoples other sides. Punk's used to be sort of funny. Some of them that Ashton thinks are hilarious are just OK. I don't even watch it anymore. I think I saw a handle of eps. Nothing really that kept my attention. He's thinks he is funnier than he really is I am afraid. So jokes on him

I thought it was hilarious when it first came out, and i dont think ashton is mean spirted,. It is getting kind of old though, repeating the same sorts of pranks, like someon below said, it just depends on the persons sense of humor and personality, and how far ashton takes the prank.....Poor Justin...

It's not really either for me. I think it's entertaining and interesting to see the other sides of some celebrities, though. They are so sweet most of the time but when they don't know they're being filmed, the real them comes out!
