If you are trying to get a GED, there will be a place for that in Lake Charles (there is an alternate education school here in Alex). Contact the parish school board for the number to the location. Then call to make appt, go to orientation and test will be scheduled. It's $40 in cash and test is usually on 2 separate days for different sections.
My step-son just called for his yesterday, that's how I know this.

High school diploma? I believe you have to go to high school and graduate. Did you mean a GED? A GED is for people who didn't have the opportunity to graduate and is an alternative to a diploma. Try looking at local technical colleges that offer GED programs.
