in the UK that is. just wondered if anyone knows of any decent music festivals apart from V, Reading, or Glastonbury (now they are all grossly overpriced). If not i'll just camp out in my back garden and get wasted.

That's the spirit; camp in the garden! And for extra realism get your mate to poop on the lawn next to the tent and to use some chip paper as bottom wipe.

Seriously, touts are absolute rissoles who ruin it for decent gig goers.
To be honest, the sound at festivals is really poor anyway and your generally miles away from the band. Step out of the mainstream and catch new bands on their way up in smaller venues. The Lines and The Bishops are two I've seen recently who'll be big in time to come.
There's a new one in my neck of the woods in Beccles Suffolk which is supposed to be really good, can't remember the name of it tho.

they sell concert tickets at face value. you wont find festival ones on there until nearer the time.
as for touts, you should have bought a ticket the moment they came out.
