He gave them a presentation centering around his days in high school basketball and how he won the big game in the final period. He oped they would accept his promise that the plant would produce 15,000 cars in one month, the most cars ever produced in a single month by that car company. If they took him up on the deal then the plant would get full wages and if not the plant would take half wages. He had no authority to make the deal.

He only made a presentation if I remember correctly. Then they flew over on ther own.
