It depends on how long you have worked and your average annual lifetime earnings.
If file form SSA-7004 with the Social Security Administration they will send you your personal information for free. I think you can also go on-line to social security and request this information be mailed to you.

Depends on how many years you worked, what your salary was, and how much you contributed. No easy answer -- it varies for everyone.
