Right well iv known ryan for 13 years which is pretty much my whole life!! well he has had a lot of trouble at school due to the fact that hes bi-sexual and that he has a boyfriend(which goes to another school) and other events! this has got him really down and wants to move schools!! in fact this is his last week!! now i got really upset as its all down to this one girl who has been giving him all the crap that has got him down!he asked me to try and be happy for him but i can't i have tried but everytime i think about it i burst into tears! but i wan't to know is it selfish of me to keep crying when really i should be happy for him as hes moving to the school were his boyfriend is?

its just another school its not like his dying if you guys are friends then you will remain that way no matter how distant he is or u are...

You're not selfish you are human. You have known him your whole life and it goes without saying that you would be hurt by him making this switch in schools. If he does do it then you should be happy for him but make sure that you know that he is not leaving you, he is simply leaving a place that is not good for him right now. Talk to him, let him know that you want to make sure that you are still going to be a major part in his life. Nobody wants to be left behind or feel abandoned.

Its okay hes your friend and its natural to feel grief when a friend moves away. Just remeber that were in a world were he could live on the other side of the planet and you could still talk to him or see him. He is better of going somewhere were he wont be judged and were its more understood! Good luck and take care!!

i do not think u r selfish he has ben ur friend for a really long time. and now he is moving. if my bestfriend was moving i would cry to. sorry to here about ppl making fun of him cuz he is by i have lots of by friends.

its ok to be sad because he's your friend and you're going to miss him. tell him you will be happy for him no matter what, but you will miss his friendship sooo much. good luck!!
