Can't hear when people call me..?

Question

When I answer my phone or call someone I can't hear them unless I put them on loudspeaker. I don't know whether I accidentally pressed a button whilst on the phone to someone or something or if I should take it back to the shop. Its a Nokia 7373 and I've had it a couple of months now with no other problems.

Thanks for all your help, I think I'll take it back to the shop. I'll be firm! :-)

Its actually quite a common Nokia fault and tends to be a form of "crashing". My old Nokia used to do it when i was asking "too much" of the phone at one time.

I used to do a hard re-set on mine, take the back off and take the battery out while the phone is still switched on, leave it out for 15 mins then put all the phone back together. It used to fix it momentarily but would often happen again in a few weeks/months.

Seeing as your phone is still quite new the best thing to do would be to return it- as it is a fault not something you have done by accident.

Needs to be repaired. I had the same thing with a couple of Motorola phones. If it is still under guarantee they should fix it for you whether you have it insured or not. You might need to be firm with them!

I would take it back to the shop its obvious theres some thing wrong with it & they should replace it.Good Luck

bad ear piece or miss alighned ear piece contacts nokia is very tough and built to be serviced so they last longer and parts are cheaper :}

try to read its manual first. if you still cant figure it out ask the shop.
