Brazil has a very rich music tradition. The Brazilian music originates from mixing the styles of European colonists with the styles of African slaves and -to a lesser degree- the styles of the Amerindians.

Samba is the Brazilian style of music that everybody knows. It is famous throughout the world. Bossa Nova is well-known among jazz enthusiasts. Nevertheless, the Brazilian music does not get the international attention to which it is entitled. Who learns more about Brazilian music, discovers a new world of sounds, styles and rhythms varying from classical music to hiphop-like styles.

Famous Brazilian styles of music are:

Brasil is the one place where i can be myself...

I love that i can dress in shorts, shirt and sandals 365 days per year and that as much as it rains..it is always warm and comfortable...at least it is in the north...I won't say that for BH, SP or RJ and obviously everything changes and gets colder in the south...

There is none of the political correctness that exists in the US..

racism and ANYTHING RACIST is against the law on a federal level...

the beaches are BEAUTIFUL, it is easier to breathe there..it is just refreshing...granted..it is HOT there...take nothing away..you gotta get coconut water in you all day long..it is better than regular water and cheaper as well -50 cents

the food is ALL organic and it is cheaper and healthier for you.. gone are the fast foods and garbage from the US...while they have launchonettes (which are places that provide some fried snacks) those places also sell other things as well

they have coke like any other country...

there is adaption that needs to be made for americans...but..they have the internet as much as any other country...it might cost a bit more...but it is there..

Brasil is extremely relaxing...but for those who are in the rat race there...it is no easier than living here..you can only have 1 job and people do not switch jobs as quickly as we do..it shows instability

Carnaval and other celebrations are only reflective of the fun brasilians like to have..but they are an INCREDIBLY industrious people as well...

Nobody will say that Brazilian women are ugly...especially the men who have been down there....they ARE stunning...in EVERY which way...but they are not stereotypically as easy as some american women..or the same way MEN here think they are...JUST because the women in New Orleans are easier during Mardi Gras.,..Carnaval may mena these girls dress less..but they are NOT sluts or easy..they are self respecting church going girls who are VERY aware of the mythical stereotype that surrounds them...

am I saying that there are not Brasilian girls like girls in ANY culture outside of the US that would not like to be in the US or like US men because they're americans?? of course...

but, they are not the rule..they are the exception and are usually looked down upon from other Brazilians...especially these days during the US/ Iraq war...Brazilians are VERY aware politically where they stand with the US and it fluctuates between good and bad as does their currency.

I look to retire in Brasil , have my R$100.000,00 dollar 2 acre beach house in a small beach in a small city called Pirambu...
