It's probably the only smidgen of power and control they have in their life. I wouldn't let it bother me, i would have a tendency to feel sorry for them if anything.

Because they have been conditioned to be inoffensive , luckily I get a great deal of pleasure putting self deluding people straight . They can believe anything about themselves as long as I don't have to listen and pretend I believe them . You'd get the same guff year in year out it is because of Political correctness that this country is SCREWED UP

Probably...but another theory is this....they are trapped in a little fantasy world of their own, in this world, they are the star of the show, a celebrity of importance and they think that what they say and think really matters. It is the same reason you always see certain people with a mobile phone stuck to their ear, sometimes with no-one on the other end!?! Why certain people drive their cars like they are the only person on the road etc, etc ,etc You know..... misfits

i have never seen anyone report an answer that was inoffensive... what i have seen, is a lot of answers reported that to about 90 % of people, would nto be offensive, but to 10 %, (minorities, gays, overweight, populations) it would be offensive. and i also have seen a lot of answers that were not offensive, but if youre kind of dense, you might think they are, are report them before you think about what theyre actually saying.

the answer may just be offensive to them .. or they could be bored .. one thing that sucks about yahoo answers to me is that you can only answer a question 1 time and cant leave a message or anything after that .. i think if we were allowed to reply to a persons answer yahoo answers would be better cause instead just reporting we could tell them what we think..

um! it beats watching doctor phil. and they have no life and are sad and angry people so they take it out on the world and sometimes go hunting for things just to complain about to make them a lil bit happier
