I am having an LDR with a man who has another LDR going on. He has been divorced for 3 yrs and been seeing a woman long distance since the divorce. He and I met 5 months ago and started a LDR. Neither he or the other woman will relocate to be together. He says their relationship is serious although they only see each other once a month but that it cannot go anywhere b/c of the long distance. Now he and I are getting more involved and I am moving to his area in three months. He says he is trying to figure out what he wants and will make a decision between her and I soon b/c this triangle is not healthy for anyone. I really want him and we get along great. I will just die if we are living close by and I have to see him with her. Does it sound like their relationship is doomed and he and I will have a chance? Is it just hard to end a three year relationship and that is why he is dragging his feet? Am I a rebound? We have spent three - one week visits together so far.

Is it intolerable to you that he has both of you?
Too many people assume that you can only have one person in your life. I'm polyamorous and have had more. Always with the full knowledge and consent of all involved.
It is something to consider.
If you are not the jealous type, and neither is the other woman, it could save your friend a long of heartache. It does require a lot of communication, on everyone's part, and pathological honesty. Still, it is very rewarding.
Just so you know, I was in a triangle (triad) with a girl and another guy. Everyone was honest and open about our feelings. She was in love with both of us, and we were with her.

You need to get over this guy, and fast! He seems to think it is okay to be seeing more than one woman at once, an odds are, there are more than just 2 of you. You deserve sooo much better. Tell him to take a hike! You can find someone who adores you and only wants to be with you!!

This guy OBVIOUSLY has commitment issues. Divorce plus two long distance relationships?? He wants to have his cake and eat it too. I wouldn't bother gtting emotionally involved with a guy like this. Sounds like you already are. The question I have for you is - IS IT WORTH IT to you to suffer for him?

from experience i will tell you that is not going to work, only because he is going to use as a stepping stone to go find someone that lives close to him and that is interested in more. Dont move to his hometown for him, if you do, do it because there is something there for you, only just because you want to cover all of your bases!! Good luck and dont get to attached until you really think this is going somewhere, DONT CUT yourself short!!

You must ask him to make a choice all agree to be the "other" woman in the relation. there is no other alternative. If he has a feeling for you he wouldn't let you be his second choice.
