British threats for their people back, U.S. Military exercises of the Iranian cost!

And this means - nothing.
We do these exercises every year (and every year stupid people claim that this means we are about to attack).
And BTW, this is not the first time Iran has kidnapped British military personnel. They are going to hold them long enough to satisfy their domestic political agenda then release them. (Just like they did last time.)

War is possible, and largely air applications. Diplomacy (coupled with as said here military enough to do the deed) may well win. But, even another 'diplomatic win' does not resolve the true issue: The Iranian gov't still acts like a snake/dragon. That they should call US etc a Satan (can you say 'adversary'?), should state that they are failures to comprehend the need to live peaceably. War is hateful, but it betrays the fact that humanity has yet to get past throwing rocks to resolve petty quarrels. 'Religion' is crap.

Give the diplomatic solution some more time, this will not be solved over night, but yes the military is ready to go just in case.
I think the diplomatic solution will win, but the Iranians will walk away with nothing.
