you could test for the pH of different sloutions like carrot juice, tomato juice, blood, onion juice etc etc i did in 7th grade with some 11th and 12th graders for the school science fair. or you could buy 3 bottles of coke/pepsi and put three teeth(yes teeth) in them(1 tooth per bottle) you wait for around 1 week and you record the rate at which the teeth corrode(yes they really corrode(they turn blackish bluish and grow kinda shorter)) then submit a report on harmful effects of aerated drinks...

I did this experiment once for the science fair and it was a big hit. It was entitled "Do plants have feelings?" and the idea was that there would be a control plant and an experiment plant of the same kind that received the same light and watering regiment. The only difference that one of the plants would get played classical music and would get talked to nicely. You can chart the growth of both plants and come to your own resolution.

Whoops, I just realized you only have one week. Then you can just buy two plants, one that looks a little nicer than the other.

I did product testing. There's a multitude of ads on TV claiming their product is the best.

Well...what if the generic is better than the name brand??

In my case I did a Science Fair Project and proved my point.
Oh...I also won the 2nd place ribbon!
