I have the option of getting a Blackberry 8800 or a PDA from T Mobile. It will be connected to the blackberry enterprise server so i will have full access to emails, contacts, calenders, and files with both. Which one would you recommend? The PDA would of course have wireless which is an advantage.

its rather like windows or apple mac. Both the Blackberry and the pda have different operating systems. The pda will be a either pocket pc, or windowsmobile operating system. It depends what you want it for the Blackberry you can use as a phone, and pda,the pda is just the same as a cut down version of a pc, I would think the T-mobile is the vario which like the blackbery its a phone/pda.

The major difference will be Push or Pull email. With the BB your mails will be delivered to you automatically. In general PDA's do not support this and require you to access the web and pull down your mails on demand - no where near as easy.

You say the PDA will have WIreless which is and advantage..I would say that this is only the case if you are regularly at a wifi spot that you can connect to (ie at home, work/school, or on a pay service when you roam around)... I find that the Internet access on the BB is more than enough, and I use it far more than my PDA.

i have not ever used a Palm Treo besides the indisputable fact that the human beings I have spoken with state that an outstanding form of the cases the gadget could carry on them, forcing a reboot. for sure this isn't each and each of the time, besides the indisputable fact that that's a valid grievance. The BlackBerry gadget is a prety solid gadget. for on the spot e mail it won't be able to be beat. The Palm Treo could have extra 0.33-celebration apps obtainable, besides the indisputable fact that it would not seem as if that is a call for for you. I have owned the BlackBerry 8700, 8100 and 8320 (all on T-cellular). the most reliable of all of them became the 8700, besides the indisputable fact that the 8100 and 8320 presented extra products like a digital camera and detachable storage. also, the 8320 allowed for calls over WiFi without utilising your minutes (in case you enroll in the T-cellular HotSpot at residing house plan). in case you opt for a superior gadget i could propose you pick the 8820 or 8800 with AT&T on the spot if a digital camera isn't a call for. both grant GPS and the 8820 comes with WiFi. in case you opt for a digital camera then i could propose the 8310 because it has GPS and a digital camera, as well as an complete QWERTY keyboard.
