I have seen so many questions on this site about hamsters that bite and are quite nasty, but I have a 1 year old male syrian and he is the most laid back, sweetest little thing in the world. He loves human contact and coming out to play, and has never bitten me, my husband or any of our friends.
What do you guys think? Are hamsters adorable and sweet natured? or vicious little rascals? what are your experiances? good or bad?

My daughter had a Black Panda Bear Hamster and he was the greatest little guy. He loved to be held or hide out in your pocket. He even liked our one dog and would walk up to him while our dog was laying on the floor. He has sinced passed away and she has a new one now but he is not as friendly as her first one.

some are cute while others are not, i had two before, one you couldn't touch without getting bitten, while the other was so sweet and loved to be held, i guess it really depends the the hamster

They are cute AND vicious. I had 2 when I was younger and when they weren't trying to escape from their cage they were biting. We have rats now and they have never bitten any of us.

Hiya im getting a hamster today.
My friend went on holiday and she gave me her hamster
It was absolutely cute and didnt bite me but she has another one and it bit me but i still like them
Its up top the hamster if it likes you or like we people got aditude so i think so do they

they are a cute pets and are easy to take care of and are gentle. can be alot of fun. I have a 2 year old he sleeps most of the time in his wheel and i hardly ever see him.
