Yes. all the time. I've had so many embarrassing moments where something was totally out of wack (like hair sticking straight on end, or worse), that I totally always look to make sure nothing is wrong that I don't know about.

I have black out curtains, a vampire thing, and for that matter I don't know if I have a reflection. It makes it difficult to shave in the morning.

I see who I am in the eyes of others and so long as they are fine with who I am so am I.

BTW, I think your little voice is afraid my vampire is on his way or else why would she be asking this question?

But no, I don't go looking for my reflection the way others do. I look for it is the reaction of those around me.
