absolutely it was an amazing shot first they had to steal the ball cause denver had it and then sheed is not the best 3 point shooters also u have 1.5 seconds so definitely it should go as one of the best shots of the year.

Yes... it wasn't as awesome as LeBron's 90-footer, but since he tied the game and sent it to overtime w/ less than 1 second, I'll give it to Sheed. I hate the guy, but that's got to be one of the 20 most amazing shots ever. He claimed to have called the bank (although he was lying) too.

It wasn't necessarily the distance that makes it good, it was the fact that it forced the game into OT where the Pistons won.

So, I'd say it is pretty memorable, even if it was from the biggest jerk in NBA history, 'Sheed Wallace.

no, shots that are mostly luck, no matter when they happen (like to force overtime) aren't "great" shots, just fortunate. a great shot would be something like that MJ layup when he goes over the defender and switches to his left hand, or gilbert arenas pulling up for a 3 to win the game, or dwight howards alley oop from the half court inbound pass...anyone can chuck up a prayer and hope it goes in, but it is mostly luck.

george karl's reaction was hilarious though, and i liked sheeds celebration, like he new it was in right away
