If we are talking about fast bowlers then we should not forget that Wasim is a left hander and Glenn Mcgrath a right hand bowler. I believe both, Wasim and Glenn are the greatest fast bowlers of this century or may be the history of cricket. Wasim had so much variety that with the same action he could bowl six different balls in a over and Glenn is very very accurate.So, in my opinion the greatest left arm fast bowler of all times is Wasim Akram and the greatest right arm fast is Glenn Mcgrath.

I would never rate Shoaib as the best in any category.
I think you refer to greatest fast bowler of all time in this question. Otherwise,leaving Warne and Muralitharan out is a sin.
In ODIs, Wasim was the greatest fast bowler beyond doubt. In tests, I would lean more towards McGrath.
Mind you, Wasim, Waqar and McGrath were great fast bowlers, but you just cant leave Lillie, Hadlee, and a few others out.
