it is clogged

Drain hose is clogged or kinked Clean out drain hose and straighten any kinks.
Drain hose fits too tightly in standpipe Standpipe must be minimum of 1 1/4 inches (3 cm) in diameter to provide air so water drains.
Clothing is stuck in the drain pump, or the drain pump has failed

Make sure the drain hose is hooked up correctly.

If it is, the only thing I can think of, maybe the drain is clogged or the drain operation is broken.

either pump has something in it such as a sock or some other item or depending on the brand of the machine ...the pump could be bad or the pump drive coupling could be broke...
